Vertical Norfolk Southern

This Class I railroad headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia operates 21,500 route miles in 22 eastern states, with some Canadian rights. The commodity it hauls most is coal from mines in Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. The railway also offers the largest intermodal network in eastern North America. As an artist, I like its striking black and white livery with the rearing horse on the front and back, in keeping with its marketing theme as The Thoroughbred of Transportation.” According to Wikipedia, railfans often call NS's locomotives because the stripes look like catfish whiskers.
