C.R. Geltz is a self-taught artist with an equally strong right- and left-brain capability who starts with a passion for color and technology and emboldens them in each scene. The daughter of an industrial engineer, she built a career in promoting energy efficiency technology and along the way started painting for leisure. Her railroad engineer boyfriend (who has worked for both British Rail and BNSF) introduced her to railroading four years ago, and it became a new calling.
