BNSF EMD crosses LA River

All in a day’s work can be stunning artwork—It just depends on the eye of the beholder! Here is a modern BNSF EMD SD70ACE engine pulling a heavy 40-car manifest train across the L.A. River to Los Angeles Junction. 

EMD SD70 is a series of diesel-electric locomotives produced by Electro-Motive Diesel. This BNSF 9090 is an EMD SD70Ace model of distributed power units built from 2004 to 2014 in the US that complied with stricter emissions standards.
